Police post satellite town Jhang Sadder was elevated to the status of full fledged police station with its formal inauguration by the DPO Jhang Mr. Farooq Mazhar, making it 13 police station of Jhang District. This is one of the eleven police station sanctioned by the IGP Punjab in the province. Comprising union councils Hawalilal, Asahaba, Mudoki, Bagh, Kotlakhnan of the rural tehsil Jhang, besides two urban union councils of 



Satellite Town falling within Jhang Municipality. The police station bifurcates the largest police station of the district Saddar Jhang into two evenly sized police stations. The creation of this police station will allow the police to keep an effective and tight leash over the crime rate. And also make it convenient for the public at large to access the police for the solution of their problems. The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior police and civil officers, notables of the town and peoples representatives. The MPA's present on the occasion announce a grant of rupees 2 million each for the construction of the police station building.
